Ferd Tihista - 1945
Ferd started his bodybuilding career in 1942 before the Weider influence set in. Sixty years of NATURAL bodybuilding and WITHOUT the use of any muscle enhancement!
For many years Ferd. & his wife Marge owned & operated a chain of Health Centers in California & Texas. Yet, Ferd's crowning accomplishment in bodybuilding has been his eagerness to share his vast experience with anyone willing to listen. I, Gordon Borges, was one of his listeners. I've been training with weights since 1944.
It's my judgment that as a Judo champion & competitive bodybuilder for sixty (60) years, the name of Ferd Tihista should be Emblazon into the FITNESS HALL OF FAME.
